De TF65-28B thermisch overbelastingsrelais is een kostenefficiënt elektromechanisch beveiligingsapparaat voor het hoofd­circuit, conform de nieuwste normen voor spoorwegrollend materieel, en geschikt voor installatie in passagiers- of bestuurderscabines van treinen die vaak in tunnels of ondergronds rijden. Het biedt betrouwbare en snelle motorbeveiliging bij overbelasting of fase-uitval. Het apparaat heeft uitschakelklasse 10. Verder: temperatuurcompensatie, uitschakelcontact (NC), signaalcontact (NO), selecteerbare automatische of handmatige reset, trip-free mechanisme, STOP-functie en uitschakelindicatie. De overbelastingsrelais worden rechtstreeks op de blokcontactoren aangesloten. Montagesets voor enkelvoudige montage zijn als accessoire verkrijgbaar.
