De softstarter PSRC25-600-70 heeft een nominale maximale bedrijfsstroom van 25 A en een bedrijfsspanningsbereik van 208…600 V AC. De nominale besturingsspanning ligt tussen 100…240 V AC bij 50/60 Hz. PSRC biedt tweefasenregeling met zachte start via een spanningsramp. Hij heeft een ingebouwde bypass voor eenvoudige installatie en energiebesparing. Een RUN-signaal is beschikbaar via een relaisuitgang in NO (normaal open). De PSRC-reeks is echte plug-and-play met een vaste instelling, geoptimaliseerd voor scrollcompressoren. PSRC wordt vaak gecombineerd met een handbediende motorstarter (MMS) van ABB; hiervoor zijn mechanische aansluitsets beschikbaar. Een andere populaire optie is veldbuscommunicatie, te activeren met een externe adapter en een veldbusplug. De PSRC is snel en eenvoudig te installeren dankzij vaste instellingen. Het ontwerp voor scrollcompressoren zorgt voor minder belasting van de compressor, waardoor de onderhoudskosten tot een minimum worden beperkt.
