De AFS38-30-22-13 is een 3-polige – 690 V IEC of 600 V UL – magneetschakelaar met vaste 2 N.O + 2 N.C. frontgemonteerde hulpcontactblokken met schroefaansluitingen. Geschikt voor het aansturen van motoren tot 18,5 kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) of 25 hp / 480 V UL en voor het schakelen van vermogenskringen tot 50 A (AC-1) of 50 A UL general use. AFS-magneetschakelaars kunnen eenvoudig worden geïntegreerd in systemen van machinebouwers die voldoen aan de normen EN ISO 13849 en EN 62061 – wat het veilige gebruik van machines en apparatuur ondersteunt. Een gemakkelijk herkenbaar geel low-energy hulpcontactblok verzorgt de status-terugvoercircuits die vereist zijn in machineveiligheidstoepassingen. Dankzij de AF-technologie heeft de magneetschakelaar een breed stuurspanningsbereik (100 ... 250 V), verwerkt grote variaties in stuurspanning, verlaagt het energieverbruik in de kast en zorgt voor betrouwbare werking in instabiele netwerken. Bovendien is overspanningsbeveiliging ingebouwd, voor een compacte oplossing. AF-magneetschakelaars hebben een blokbouwontwerp, zijn eenvoudig uit te breiden met extra hulpcontactblokken en een breed assortiment accessoires.
