De S802N-C40 is een 2-polige hoogwaardige installatieautomaat met C-karakteristiek, voorzien van kooiklem en een nominale stroom van 40 A. Het is een stroombegrenzend apparaat met een maximale afschakelcapaciteit van 36 kA bij 240/415 V. Het kan worden gebruikt voor spanningen tot 400/690 V en ook voor DC. Het beschikt over twee uitschakelmechanismen: een thermisch uitschakelmechanisme voor overbelastingsbeveiliging en een elektromechanisch uitschakelmechanisme voor kortsluitbeveiliging. De S802N-C40 voldoet aan IEC/EN 60898-1 en IEC/EN 60947-2 en is geschikt voor toepassingen in woongebouwen, utiliteit en industrie. Het beschikt over talrijke keurmerken en is daardoor wereldwijd inzetbaar. Het uitgebreide assortiment toebehoren maakt het gebruik van de S802N-C40 nog eenvoudiger.
