De S803S-D20 is een 3-polige hoogpresterende installatieautomaat met D‑karakteristiek, met kooi‑klem en een nominale stroom van 20 A. Het is een stroombegrenzend apparaat met een maximale afschakelcapaciteit van 50 kA bij 240/415 V. Hij kan worden gebruikt voor spanningen tot 400/690 V en ook op gelijkspanning (DC). Het apparaat heeft twee verschillende uitschakelmechanismen: het thermische uitschakelmechanisme voor overbelastingsbeveiliging en het elektromechanische uitschakelmechanisme voor kortsluitbeveiliging. De S803S‑D20 voldoet aan IEC/EN 60898‑1 en IEC/EN 60947‑2 en maakt gebruik in woon-, commerciële en industriële toepassingen mogelijk.
