De CR-U230AC2L is een insteekbaar interface-relais, ook wel bekend als een ice cube-relais. CR-U relais kunnen in CR-U sokkels worden gestoken; deze combinatie is naadloos op een DIN-rail te klikken. CR-U relais hebben robuste ronde pencontacten, ontworpen en geproduceerd voor zware, repetitieve toepassingen, en zijn duurzamer dan standaardrelais. Dit relais werkt op een nominale stuurspanning van 230 V AC en heeft 2 wisselcontacten (SPDT) met een contactbelasting van 250 V / 10 A, zodat meerdere circuits met één ingangssignaal kunnen worden geschakeld. De geïntegreerde testknop maakt handmatige bediening mogelijk door de uitgangscontacten te vergrendelen, wat testen en inbedrijfname vereenvoudigt. Daarnaast is een geïntegreerde LED aanwezig die aangeeft wanneer de relais-spoel is bekrachtigd.
